An hour of planning can save you 10 hours of doing

Without leaps of imagination or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming after all is a form of planning.

What you do every single day matters. So do what matters every single day.

At The Lions Pride we believe true success happens when you master business, life, and self—at the same time. We built The High-Performance Daily Planner with all three things in mind. Use it to help zero in on your top priorities each day (not just at work!), and then map out how long it takes you to complete them and how you will reward yourself when you do.

What it Does

The High-Performance Planner (available for free here) is designed to help you prioritize what’s important and create powerful routines to make your wildest dreams come to life—every single day.

A Google Document that’s fit to print, this planner is a highly customizable template—just make a copy and make it work for you! Start now.

How to put the High-Performance Daily Planner to work

Start fresh every day or at the beginning of every week (depending on how often you update your goals and routines) with a new sheet and work through both columns.

The Focus + Finish side is there for the most concrete part of your workday and allows you to hone in on the essentials.

  • Your projects. Consider their level of importance, the time associated with each, and motivation for something fun when it is done.

  • Your schedule. Maximize your time by limiting how many appointments and meetings you have. Jot down tasks and reminders for smaller things you don’t want to forget.

The Daily Progress side helps you actively and intentionally develop the routines and rituals that contribute to a day—and a life—that is fulfilling, meaningful, and exceptional.

  • Your focus. Set personal quarterly goals, establish healthy habits, and take time to visualize your future.

  • Your reflection. Reflect on the positives that happened each day/week, express gratitude, and give yourself a chance at a do-over for any missed opportunities or mistakes.

Why Cohort Members love it

  • It teaches you to be realistic (and specific) in both your time estimates and the scope of what you can accomplish in that timeframe.

  • It helps you focus on progress, not perfection. It is rare to complete multiple projects in a day. The goal isn’t to get everything done all the time. The goal is to make significant progress on what’s most important.

  • Rest/Reward is NOT optional. No one can sprint at full speed without a breather. In the same way, this planner helps give your brain the regular breaks it requires for peak performance. Plus it trains your brain to remember what’s good—so it knows how to repeat it.
